What is the inspiration behind your new single ‘Concentration’?
“Concentration” is a song about fantasy and infatuation, something we have all experienced in our lives. This time around I wanted to draw from a real-life experience and put it into my music, I used to be nervous about showing a more sensual side to myself in fear of what people would think but I decided to throw away those fears and be completely free creatively. From the moment I heard the instrumental I knew that I wanted to write a song that could be played at Notting Hill carnival and I wanted to have a song in my catalogue that was strictly for the ladies haha! I feel like every R&B star has songs like that.
